Chinese visa guide
| 1. X visa (30 days) You are supposed to apply for X visa if you are going to stay in China for more than 6 months and you can apply for X visa in Chinese Consulate or Embassy in your home country before entering China, and you are supposed to go through the medical examination in China before you can apply for Residence Permit within 30 days after your entry of China. Your medical certificates done in your home country when applying for X visa still need to be verified in China. |
| 2. L visa (30 days) You are supposed to apply for L visa if you are going to stay in China for no less than 1 month and you can apply for L visa in Chinese Consulate or Embassy in your home country before entering China. |
| 3. F visa (30, 60, 90 or 180 days) You are supposed to apply for F visa if you are going to stay in China for no more than 6 months and you can apply for F visa in Chinese Consulate or Embassy in your home country before entering China. |
Attn:
1. L and F visa can not be extended after you entering China but you can apply for Residence
Permit after going through the medical examination in China.
2. L visa cannot be changed to F visa or F visa to L visa after entering China.
