Chinese Government Scholarship for Shanghai University

This scholarship is a full scholarship by the Ministry of Education to Shanghai University for those who study for Master’s or Doctoral degrees. Applications should be submitted directly to Shanghai University.

Requirements

1.Regards to programs taught in English: TOFEL 550/New TOFEL 80 or IELTS 5.5

Regards to programs taught in Chinese: HSK level 4 (180) for Fine Arts or ChineseLanguage, HSK 4(195) for Science or Engineering, HSK 4(210) for Economics programs, HSK 5(180) for Liberal Arts

2. Aged18 to 40

1. Please register your personal information at

http://laihua.csc.edu.cn/inscholarship/jsp/student/StudentLogin.jsp.

2. Only for Master or PHD candidates who are not studying in China now.

Please submit your files directly to Shanghai University as following:

1. Scholarship Application form (printable after filling in)

2. Copyof Notarized Bachelor or/and Master Degree certificates or diplomas, gradereports (English version)

3. 2 recommendation letters from 2 professors in relevant fields

4. Chinese or English language proficiency certificates

5. Study plan (at least 1 A4 page)

6. Passport copy
